- B-1 Visa holders are allowed to stay until 6 months but are given a maximum extension of another 6 months, making it a total of 1 year for them to do business activities within the U. S. territory.
- The family members of a B-1 visa holder are not eligible to get a dependent visa
- To get a B-1 business visa, a person must carefully prepare for an error-free application. As soon as the applicant’s request has been granted, he/she will have to wait for a couple of days or weeks to receive your visa.

Visitors entering on the Visa Waiver Program cannot work or study while in the US and cannot stay longer than 90 days or change their status to another category.
