People Often Dream of Going To The United States

People have a lot of reasons why they dream of going to the States and you probably have your own reasons why you want to go as well. Where else would you go? The United States of America has everything you need. From the glamour of the night lights, the luxury of having a shopping spree, the fascination of a booming economy, the opportunity to study in the Ivy League schools, and the classic sightseeing of famous tourist attractions. The U.S. has them all to accommodate you.

But with the grandiose things this country can offer, it also entails you to go through a tedious process before having the chance to experience all of these wonderful things. And a visa is actually one of those.

There Are Different Kinds of Visas

There are different kinds of visa depending on the reasons for the visit and even for the length of stay in the country. Rules and regulations are applied to each type and should be followed for the visa to be granted upon the requesting party.

You Need To Know About The B-1 Visa

Those who are traveling to the United States of America for a short period of time due to business matters without actual labor work and receiving any payment from a U. S. source are given this kind of visa.

If this is your first time to get a B-1 visa, you probably have some questions on your mind, right?

So, here are some things you have to remember before applying for a business visa:

  1. Oftentimes, this non-immigrant visa is given to you if you are attending business meetings, conferences, training, consultations, and other business-related activities, but not for establishing and conducting businesses in the U. S. territory.
  2. B-1 Visa holders are allowed to stay until 6 months but are given a maximum extension of another 6 months, making it a total of 1 year for them to do business activities within the U. S. territory.
  3. The family members of a B-1 visa holder are not eligible to get a dependent visa
  4. To get a B-1 business visa, a person must carefully prepare for an error-free application. As soon as the applicant’s request has been granted, he/she will have to wait for a couple of days or weeks to receive your visa.

Entering the United States can be very challenging. Get your B-1 visa now!
