Olesya Matyushevsky is a founder of Matyushevsky Law Group, LLC. Upon graduating from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business, she entered Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and received her degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) in September of 2007. Matyushevsky was sworn in before the Supreme Court of South Carolina in May 2008.
Since May 2008 up until August of 2015, Ms. Matyushevsky was employed by CODA (Citizens Opposed to Domestic Violence) as a Staff Attorney. Ms. Matyushevsky represented four counties in the 14th Judicial Circuit, Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton, for the organization and worked closely with local victim advocates and law enforcement. In addition to representing client in Family Court proceedings including Divorce, Custody, Child Support, and Orders of Protection/Restraining Orders, Ms. Matyushevsky also provided legal representation with regards to Landlord/Tenant matters, Employment and Housing issues, and Immigration.
